Lunette Press is a small press based in St. Louis, Missouri. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to fulfill orders and keep in touch with customers who ask us to.

Information we collect

• Order and shipping details. When you buy a book, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, the items ordered, and your fulfillment choice. We store this so we can process and ship your order and answer questions about it.
• Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's checkout and are never sent to or stored on our servers — we only receive a confirmation that payment succeeded and the order details above.
• Newsletter sign-ups. If you opt in during checkout, we add your email and name to our mailing list so we can send occasional updates. Opting in is optional and is never required to complete a purchase.

Service providers

We share information with a small number of providers only to the extent needed to run the shop:

• Stripe — processes payments and handles card data.
• Shippo — generates shipping labels from your order's shipping address.
• Brevo — stores newsletter contacts and sends mailing-list emails, if you opted in.
• Plausible Analytics — measures site traffic. Plausible is privacy-friendly and cookieless: it does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personal information. Statistics are aggregated and cannot be used to identify you.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your shopping cart is kept in your browser's local storage so its contents persist while you shop; this data stays on your device and is not sent to us until you check out.

Data retention

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill orders, provide support, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Newsletter contacts are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do at any time using the link in any newsletter email.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to unsubscribe from the newsletter. Email us at contact@lunette-press.com and we'll respond promptly. Note that we may need to retain certain order records to meet legal obligations even after a deletion request.
